See the arena

You two are separated when you go inside and group up with other random people who are in que to play onto two teams, you were blue and Doe was red. besides yourself, on your team there was a young teenage boy with his parents and another guy all dressed out in army fatigues for some reason.

When you head into the arena you notice that the room was dark and the ground covered in fog. There were also padded walls all around the room, and throughout it, creating obstacles to hide behind and places to get cover. From your entry point there was no way to see the other team which you assumed to be on the other side of the long arena.

As the bell went off signaling the start of the game, the others on your team ran ahead, shouting and having fun. You on the other hand pause and hide behind a wall, thinking. You're not exactly sure how to handle Doe. On the one hand she definitely had the training from the military to kick your ass, but on the other hand, she's the type of person to just have fun and charge into situations like this. It all depends on how badly she wanted to win, and on how badly you wanted to win!
