Which episode?

Season 4, Episode 09: The Dinner Party

It was a late Friday evening at Dunder-Mifflin Paper Company. Corporate had asked the entire staff to stay late to complete an overtime assignment. Needless to say the staff wasn't very happy about it.

Everyone went about their business quickly and quietly so they could leave as soon as possible.

Stanley Hudson, a slightly overweight, middle-aged, black man, sat at his desk in his normal suit and tie combo.

Phyllis Vance, a matronly woman who also happened to be overweight, had her desk across from Stanley, but at the moment she chose to stand as she sorted through a box of files.

Kelly Kapoor, a young Indian girl who knew more about American pop culture than anyone in the office, stood next to Phylis helping her sort files.

All three of them were annoyed with Michael for forcing them to stay late on a Friday.

Michael Scott was the regional manager of the Scranton branch of Dunder-Mifflin. He was obnoxious and always managed to make any moment he was involved in extremely awkward.

'I'm supposed to be out living life and hooking up with hot guys,' thought Kelly. 'I'm not supposed to be in the office on a Friday.'

'Bob and I were supposed to go out to bars tonight. I was going to wear my lowest cut shirt to get guys to hit on me and then Bob would hit them. After we would have sex in the bathroom,' thought Phylis with a sigh.

'I just want to go home enjoy a nice glass of red wine and watch my stories, but no, this fool has us working late on a Friday of all days,' thought Stanley shooting a glare at Michael.

Jim Halpert, who at the time was dating Pam Beasley, stood at his desk which was in front of the reception desk where Pam sat all day. Whenever he wanted he could just look over and see his beautiful redheaded girlfriend. Jim was tall and lanky. His hair was always a mess and his tie was never fully tightened. Jim wasn't a slob, he just didn't really care about his job, but since he started dating Pam he began to care more and more everyday.

Pam Beasley was sitting behind her desk watching the office work. She had red hair and a small slender frame. She was always considered the hottest in the office, a fact Michael often stated out loud. Pam was currently dating Jim, her best friend in the world.

Dwight Shrute sat at his desk working deligently. His work always came first. A trait often overlooked in him. He owned a beet farm and was the best salesman at Dunder-Mifflin earning him the title Assistant to the Regional Manager. Dwight was wearing his normal work outfit, a mustard colored shirt and tie. He adjusted his glasses on his face, but went back to work immediately.

Pam watched as Michael walked out of his private office into the general workplace. She assumed he had something to say. He never ventured out unless he was going to say something, but 9 times out of 10 whatever it was, was never important.

What does Michael say?
