For years you'd fought on the side the side of the angels. You'd kind of fallen into it. With your powers, you could take or control anything you wanted, so villainy had never had the incentives it offered most other supers.
Still, you were in Gotham, widely regarded as one of the most villain-heavy cities in the multiverse.
