Scout the tunnels...

Just as you began debating whether to head towards the village (you'd have to get that 'redbox' sometime soon!) you spot a few torches bolted to the cave wall - they lead towards a decaying stair, down deeper underground.

You put your armor back on and cautiously make your way through the tunnel - after about ten minutes of simply following the torches (there were many side passages, unlit) you could hear the thunderous sounds of man rough voices vying, as if in a large crowd!

Slowly down to crawl along the dirt floor, you peer over an edge - nearly fifty lizardmen are gathered below, all shouting and roaring at a single figure alone; General Scales!

"Spirits, that's half the village in here," you mutter, interested to know what Scales would have to say. "I wonder what they're up to..."

You carefully consider what you should do - if you stay to spy on the meeting you have a chance of learning where the 'redbox' is or even some military intelligence! However, if you get caught, there would be no way to get away from them all...

On the other hand, now would be your best shot at getting away to scout out the village - and it would be much prudent to avoid that crowd.
