Scary Simple

Staring down at the note it is a very simple and beautifully hand written note, wonderful penmanship and beautifully stylized letters spelling out a very simple and direct message, ‘Prepare and enter.’ For a moment that almost gives you pause for thought, what exactly did Ulqui-chan mean by prepare? Despite your apprehension you give a slight shrug, your hand laying itself upon your Zanpakuto as you slowly enter the room with soundless steps.

The first thing you take notice of is the fact that the room itself is incredibly massive, a sheer grandiose size that is belittled by its placement in the middle of Ulquirra’s small library. The very next thing you notice is how utterly dark and dismal the room is, a deep pitch black broken only slightly by various candles scattered around the abysmal corridor.

As you take a step into the room you hear the door you entered slam shut, a thunderous echoing noise that causes you to jump and turn only to find that your one means of escape has vanished completely, “Uh…oh…”

Turning around to face the room you jump as a flash a pale white skin flashes in and out of your vision, the briefest glance of the spectral face of Ulquirra causing sweat to drip from your brow and your eyes to glance all over the room, “Ulqui-chan…a-are you there?”

“You training begins now John,” you jump as Ulquirra’s voice tickles you ear, the soft breath of her quiet voice breaking over your skin sending a shiver down your spine and a thunderous pounding from your heart. Turning towards the source of the voice you find nothing, only another pitch black shadow of the cave like room.

“Ulqui-chan,” you mutter, your head spinning around and looking for that tell tale flash of liquid paper white, “a-are you mad at me?”

“Resurreccion is about instinct John,” that low and monotone voice of your black haired lover sounds from right behind you, your body turning to find nothing as Ulquirra’s voice sounds again, “in this room your instinct will be put to the test and you will find your Resurreccion.”

“Ulqui-chan, I’m sorry about not visiting you lately,” you say with a decidedly nervous tone, “I didn’t mean it…I-I’ve just been so caught up-“

“My fraccion and I will be attacking you freely and from all angles John,” Ulquirra’s voice is slightly cold now and you can feel the distinct heat of three very agitated glares from the darkness, “this will **** your body to react and call out your true form.”

“Luppi-chan, Cirruci-chan, I want to apologize to you too,” you quickly say, trying to mend the fence with the other two girls who you didn’t know were present, “I-I’ve hardly had time for myself let alo-“

“The training will now commence,” Ulquirra speaks, her breath right by your ear sounding louder than ever, “and yes John…I am very mad at you.”
