Actress Scarlett Johansson had just finished up an LA shopping spree.

John hit pause, and the actress froze midstep. Thanks to his amazing inventing abilities, Scarlett was temporarily forgotten by society due to the remote, and would continue to be that way until unfrozen, or if her channel was changed in which case she would be viewed as whatever her new channel was. John made sure to do that so the cops wouldn't track him down when a bunch of celebrities disappeared.

A man bumped into the paused Scarlett. "What the?" he asked in confusion, before shrugging and going about his day.

John acyed wuickly, putting Scarlett in the backseat of his car and driving back home with her.
