Friday Night, October 24th
The city was quiet. It was almost too quiet. The roof of the Cathedral was dark and desolate, no one up here but the gargoyles. Looking up the night’s sky was clear and stary, but in the distance there were clouds. The question formed, was this the quiet before the storm?
“Hay stud,” Selina’s voice called out, “Come by this roof top often?”
“Catwoman,” the harsh voice of Batman retorted.
“Meow,” Selina purred, “That voice makes all the panties went. Good thing I am not wearing any…”
Selina gave Batman, a ‘I’m a naughty kitty’ smile.
“This is a church Catwoman,” Batman intoned.
“So should I call you ‘Father’ Batman?” Selina licked her lips.
“Have you no shame?” Batman pronounced.
“Nope,” Selina leaned her body into his.
“Report Robin,” Batman barked.
“This is the most interesting thing happening tonight,” the kid in the reg and green outfit came out of the shadows, “Unless we hit the clubs looking for drug dealers, everyone packed it in hours ago.”
“Go collect evidence in the batcave kid,” Selina said.
“What?” Jason asked as he took the helmet with the black wig off and scratched his red hair.
“Robin,” Batman intoned, “Report back to the Batcave.”
“What?” Jason asked.
“Call it a night, you did well,” Batman said pleasantly.
“Whatever,” Jason put his helmet back on, “Don’t forget to wear a condom!”
“So…” Selina purred.
“Not on a church,” Batman said then looked over, “Meet me at the penthouse…”

Saturday Morning, October 25th
Crane was not in a good mood when he was called in with Doctor Quinzelle to speak with Patient J as the Joker was called. Crane sat in one chair next to Quinzelle. Joker was still stuck in the upper body cast.
“You know,” Joker said, “You two would make great supercriminals.”
“Supercriminals?” Quinzelle asked trying to hide her Brooklyn accent.
“That is what the news is calling me and the pale imitators of my caliber of enterprise…” Joker started chortling, “Could you imagine me in a stripped skin suit with a big SC on my chest?”
“Please no…” Crane said.
“But you Crane, you should be… ‘The Scarecrow’… Try it out,” Joker insisted.
“That isn’t…” Crane said.
“Come on, try it out…” Joker insisted.
“The scarecrow?” Crane more asked than said.
“You got to OWN IT,” Joker said.
“I am Scarecrow…” Crane said with a little more authority.
“Eh…” Joker tried to shrug, “Work on it. Now you Doctor Quin Medicine Woman… What kind of villain would you be?”
“I am definitely not Dorthy,” Quinzelle stated.
“I was thinking Hyena Queen,” Joker said.
“I am The Hyena Queen,” Quinzelle said.
“Not an perfect fit, but work on it…” Joker said.
“Is that how you see people? As other villains?” Quinzelle asked.
“Not everyone…” Joker smirked, “But what is a hero and what is a villain?”
“Is this a semantic question?” Crane said, “Or should I pull up the definitions?”
“Oh, Scarecrow has jokes,” Joker snickered, “A hero is the star of the story, the villain is the star of another story that stands in opposition to this story’s hero…”
“So are you saying you are really a hero?” Quinzelle asked, “Just of another hero’s story?”
“Well of course…” Joker said, “If this story was about me, I would be an anti-hero…”

The dress was off the shelf… but it was cute and fit well. Kara knew what the implication of the number 69 on her chest meant and laughed. She decided that the pink with black details was the color scheme for her and she put the latex cheerleader minidress over her arm and walked around the shop while Raven and Jason picked outfits from the costume section of the shop. Kara smiled as Jason held up the almost plastic suit and wig of the Max Headroom costume. She was sure that Jason had no idea who Max Headroom was, but figured it would match the more fetishistic outfit he wanted Raven to wear. Kara walked over to see what Raven had, she had a black and white latex Wednesday Adams outfit. Kara snickered to herself.

“It’s a big Dick!” Kara barked as she got out of the SUV.
“Hay Kara. How’s it going Jason?” Dick Grayson shouted as he pulled his bag out of the passenger side or the van.
“Does this mean more loading of shit into the van?” Jason groaned.
“Naw kid,” Dick walked over and rustled Jason’s hair, “Just spending the week with the family.”
“And Korry?” Kara asked.
“She is helping Vic to deal with his internal hard-drive going out of whack,” Dick shrugged, “She should be here Thursday.”
“Cool,” Kara said…
“I already called Barbara to let her know I was coming…” Dick said before turning and catching the flying redhead, “Hay Ba…”
“Hide the kid!” Barbara spat quickly, “Porntime!”
“Ok,” Kara giggled, “Let’s give them some privacy… put your phone away!”
“What?” Jason said, “Do you know how much this could bring in?”
“Lets go Axel Braun,” Kara pushed Jason along and out of the garage.

Kara was strutting across the club floor followed by Barbara leading Dick on a leash. Kara was decked out in her latex witch outfit while Barbara was rocking a sexy werefox latex catsuit and Dick was in a Frankenstein monster outfit they found at the last minute. Tula was in the rear in a stuffy suit and glasses, she was going as the Atlantean Ambassador to the UN. Kara knew that Tula would get hell from the noble lady for mocking her, but Kara just smiled.
“Why couldn’t you have him go as Rocky from that movie you girls like?” Tula asked looking at Dick’s butt, “He would look so much better in a gold bathing suit.”
“Oh I already picked out another outfit for him to wear in private!” Barbara called back.
“What?” Dick asked.
“Leather Banana Hammock,” Kara said, “That’s what you asked me to get right?”
“Yep.” Barbara kissed Dick.

Jason sat with Raven and Megan in the batcave. Far from the sexy costumes that Barbara and her Goth Girls wear wearing, the three were in comfy pants and sweatshirts.
“There really is nothing going on,” Megan said looking at the alert system on the monitor.
“I have a weird chill in my bones,” Raven rubbed the gem on her forehead, “Like something bad is coming.”
“Bruce said something about ‘quiet before the storm,’ the other night,” Jason looked up from the laptop with the school work.
“What do you think of Rose?” Megan asked.
“I am not sure,” Jason said.
“She has been trying to grill me pretty hard on what is really going on at the school,” Raven said.
“I was thinking about asking her out,” Megan said.

It was nearly dawn, Batgirl looked down into the apartment, it was sparsely furnished, but it looked like it was a living workshop. Jean Paul was making coffee and doing pushups. For a Sunday Morning, he was surprisingly active. He was muttering something. Suddenly Jean Paul slapped himself and then he seemed to wake up and looked around confused. He shook his head and then fixed himself a cup of coffee like it was normal for him to work in his sleep.
