Samuel Arnold was sitting in the front row of the bleachers in the gymnasium surrounded by other senior football players. He was waiting his turn in the auction. He figured he would the high dollar item in the bidding. He was the team captain of the football team and starting quarterback.
The auction was an annual tradition for the seniors to be sold to the highest bidder to be their "****" for a day. It never really amounted to anything. Maybe carry some books or other menial tasks. But the football seniors were special. Every year it was agreed that if any player won the bidding on a senior. That senior would get them water at practice and chauffeur them around for a week. So it was really just driving them to and from school. And handing them a water bottle. No big deal unless the player got pushy.
Samuel was very athletic and it showed in his thick muscles. He was the star quarterback after all. He ran a hand through his short blonde hair as he looked around the crowd. He picked out the ones he knew would bid for him.
There was a group of freshman football players who would bid on him. He did the same thing when he was a freshman with the idea in his head that he would humiliate Brian Jackson, the senior who tormented him. It was a stupid plan. The next day he was pummeled by Brian.
Another possibility was a group of three freshman girls. Two girls were blonde and the other had black hair and freckles. They were kind of cute. He caught them staring his way. After realizing he was looking at them. The three girls buried their heads together giggling. Samuel couldn't help but laugh.
His laughter immediately fled when he saw Ashley Felner staring daggers at him. Ashley was gorgeous, tall and blonde, with an amazing body. She was a b-cup as a freshman, but was definitely at least a C going on D now. She was also a senior, but wasn't up for bid. The auction was voluntary and she seemed more interested in him. She would pay a pretty price for him. Ashley hated him. He and Ashley hooked up their freshamn year at a party. They both were drinking like everyone else and eventually found themselves in a bedroom alone. One thing led to another and they took eachother's virginity. Ashley blamed him for it and hated him ever since. She smirked and looked away.
Samuel gulped and shook the thought scanning the crowd for others. Maybe girls were looking at him. A few lower class men looked as well. It could really be anyone. He was certain he was just that popular.
