Sam

The first thing Sam did once school was out was head to the mall and do some shopping. She had never been much of a shopper but, for some reason, she had an urging to do some shopping now. The first store she found went to was a little dress boutique that she didn't even know had existed. She started looking around and looked completely out of place. Here she was in her basketball sweat suit looking at dresses that looked like they had come out of the 1950s. She was revolted at all of the dresses there and couldn't imagine herself wearing anything in there. She only owned a couple dresses and only wore them on very special occasions and none of hers looked anything like these.

"I bet that Rosie girl shops here," she said as she laughed to herself.

However, she soon found herself picking out some dresses but only the polka dot ones. There was a red one and a pink one both with white polka dots that she took to the changing room to try on. She tried on the red one and was shocked and disgusted to see how feminine and girly she looked. She didn't know what had gotten into her but, for some reason, she also had an urging to make this outfit even cuter by getting some high heels and ribbons to go with it. She took it off and picked out some hair ribbons and white high heels to go with it and went to the cashier and bought the items.

The cashier knew who she was and asked, "Are you trying out a new style or what? These dresses are cute."

Sam responded embarrassingly, "I'm not entirely sure what's gotten into me. This isn't usually my style."

She took the items home and hung them but promising herself that she would never put them on again and making sure to hide them in the back of her closet so no one would see them in her. They looked like dresses that you would find either Minnie Mouse or a stereotypical housewife from the 1950s in.

The next day she woke and started getting ready for class but found herself putting on the red and white polka-dotted dress. She was screaming at herself trying to stop but she kept on putting it on along with red hair ribbons and her white high heels. She couldn't believe how she looked. There was no way she could face her friends dressed like this. The dress fell short of her knees and flared out wide around her hips in an embarrassingly girly way with plenty of petticoats underneath of it. She was just making fun of that Rosie girl in her class yesterday for dressing girly but now here she was dressed even more feminine than she did. She tottered on out to her car uncomfortably in her four inch heels. She was not used to wearing heels and it showed. A gust of wind blew hard as she was opening her car door exposing her frilly pink panties for two passersby and leaving her thoroughly humiliated.

She walked into her classroom and was blushing furiously. A collective snicker went through the classroom when she walked in and everyone saw the star basketball player and huge tomboy dressed like the type of cutesy girl that would prefer knitting or painting her nails over shooting hoops.

"What are you wearing??" one of her friends asked half giggling and half shocked.

"I don't know why I decided to wear this today!" Sam responded furiously.

"Nice outfit," Nate leaned over and said while laughing, "I told you that even you had a feminine side that came out every once in awhile."

"Shut up!" Emily said. "I have never been more embarrassed."

"If you're wondering why you're wearing what you're wearing, it is because of me. If you don't want to dress like a girly girl to class, then you better come to my place tonight dressed like that and do my laundry and cook me dinner. Otherwise, get used to dressing like that or even more feminine."

"Haha very funny. You wish."

"If you say so, it's your loss," Nate responded.
