"I'll give you a hand if you like." Sam says after a moment's silence. "Need to pull my weight around here after you've let us stay here after all."
Emma shoots him a broad grin. "Thank you Sam, that's really kind of you." Finishing her sentence she turns to the kids around her. "In that case you kids get washing up duties. The kitchen needs to be clear before you dash off to do whatever you're planning."
There's a slight grumble from the other three as you and Emma move towards the front door. "Oh, we travelled down in the mobile home." She finally says to Sam stopping at the door. "It might be a little big for a super market trip, would you be able to drive the other car?"
