Sabrina had just discovered a book of dark spells her aunts had hidden from her. These spells were right up her alley. She understood why her aunts kept them from her. The spells involved mind control, telekinesis and control of body parts, time stopping, and control of emotions and hormones. With these spells, she could torment and humiliate anyone she wanted.

She thought of all the people she knew: there was her woefully dimwitted and flaky aunt Zelda, her mean, gruff, and totally bitchy aunt Hilda; her best friend Jenny who was the most popular girl in school, and getting annoying for always being totally full of herself and always playing with and bragging on her naturally curly hair, Libby the goody twoshoes queen of nice, and Harvey the cool and rebelious loner.
