Chapter 3 by Vanilla_Wildrush

What does it mean being in this kind of relationship?

SSC(Safe, Sane, Consensual)

Melody and Griffin went about their relationship the same way but there were some minor changes. Griffin implemented rules for Melody, things she had to follow and tasks she had to complete on her days off from work. He also made it a rule that she had to address him properly except around family or friends that didn't understand their relationship. He was no longer Griffin. He was Daddy. Melody couldn't be happier with her rules and tasks that she had to complete. She did so with a skip in her step and a smile on her face. Their relationship really didn't change that much. Griffin had always been nurturing and protective of her. It did get stronger and more obvious now that they had agreed to have this kind of relationship.

Griffin himself was starting to learn rather quickly that this was something he had wanted but didn't know it. Every time Melody called him Daddy, his heart seemed to sing and skip a beat. Every time he called her baby girl, it felt right, as if they were meant to be in this kind of relationship. It felt so right and so good.

Their principles still stood, regardless of what they did or how their dynamic was. Safe, sane and consensual, something they valued highly in their relationship. Griffin knew as well that Melody was opening up a part of herself she hadn't been able to. She was **** and he was making sure to protect her and keep her safe.

Melody had realized how **** she was when they agreed to have this kind of relationship. She had realized that she felt exposed and at risk for pain and hurt but she trusted Griffin and knew he wouldn't do those things to her. She trusted him with her life at this point. Melody was happy like this. She was carefree. She seemed to tap into something that she had pushed down and hidden for many years because it was frowned upon by society and people always telling her to "grow up" or to "act her age". She was being true to herself now and she had never been happier.

Melody waited for Griffin to come home from work, her chores done and the house was spotless. She bounced excitedly, waiting to see what he had planned for them that night. She sighed happily as she waited, a smile glued to her face and a sparkle in her eye that never seemed to go away.
