SOL - Game time

You were already behaving yourself because you just got out of prison. Behaving yourself more is not difficult. In fact, it’s easy because you no longer have to think about anything for yourself. You can just do what you figure Tiff would want you to do.

Riley isn’t stupid. She knows that everyone knows, and she is dying of embarrassment even though nobody’s mocking her, and her team is sympathetic. Everyone loves her, but you kind of get it. You always wonder if people know about your past now, just like Riley must worry about everyone thinking she’s a naïve, lovesick girl with no experience.

But it’s not like that. They understand. Lara is an attractive woman. She’s pretty, she’s confident, she has a perfect body… what’s not to like?

None of that matters to Riley. She quickly returns to acting as though things are normal, with an extra focus on soccer. Shortly before the game on Friday, you realize that she’s figured out that Tiff is plotting against her. Well, not against her… but Tiff has gone behind her back to try to protect the team.

That generates a lot of tension as you go into your Friday match with White Team.

You are on attack now, and a new teammate named Carly has taken your place as a defender. Even with Riley off her game, you have a strong offense. But Carly worries you; your defense was already Pink Team’s biggest problem.

Tiff has already made you aware of some details about White Team. They have a powerful defense, but a weak midfield. Their midfielders are scrappy, but they aren’t experienced soccer players. Their attackers are not on the same level as you and Riley, but their teamwork is exceptional and Tiff reports that they have incredible stamina.

The game kicks off with some interesting interactions. White Team hits hard. They are fearless about pulling cards, which is normal at FUTA. You get the nod from Tiff to use similar tactics, but take your time choosing a target.

Riley gets the ball and gives it directly to you. That’s not the plan; you and Riley are supposed to run the other team while feeding the ball to Aki, but White Team seems to anticipate this. They’re keeping Aki covered. You have **** but to go in.

The defenders are insane. The busty girl with long, teal hair is adorable but fearless. You don’t have the heart to knock her down, and she’s exploiting that ruthlessly. The Polish girl is no threat, but the one with the red braid and the one with white hair are just monsters. They’re all over you. All you can do is kick the ball back to Riley, who takes her shot.

The big, blonde goalkeeper stops it, but Riley looked solid.

The match is just starting. This will be tough; you hope Riley can hold up.
