Chapter 4
by Patatomante
What do you do?
Run to the forest!
You don't have weapons, know nothing about magic, and he's got an axe. At least in the forest you may evade his attacks... At least you thought that much, before getting hit by his axe on the arm. Ouch. Fortunately, due to the trees being in the way, the blow wasn't at full strength, so he did not kill you in the spot. You're not dead, you just wish you were.
"Darn. I was going for the head. Well, this time, I won't miss..."
So, this is it. You've barely gained a minute of life by going into the forest. You are gonna die a-lone, a-fraid, and a-virgin.
Wait. The bandit has stopped. He looks quite afraid, to be honest. Was my joke THAT bad?
"T-the Knights of Seiros!" He cries in fear, before running away as fast as he can. Oh hey, you know those people. They're the incredibly weak guys who dress in white armor! Fortunately, this bandit hasn't quite understood the fact that he could probably take on 20 of this fellas by himself and still win.
"Well, it's... Nice, to see that the Knights are as fear-inspiring as they used to be." A man who seemed really tired of being there murmured. "Byleth, do you mind using your magic?"
Wait. Byleth. That's the Professor! As you feel you pain receding, you regain your sight and see before you some familiar faces. Professor is healing your wounds with a Heal Spell, Captain Jeralt the Bladebreaker at his side. A few Knights stand beside you, one of them being good ol' Alois. At the other side, Prince Dimitri, Imperial Princess Edelgard and Future Leader of the Alliance Claude are watching, with different levels of awe at the power of the Professor. And yet, you still don't know why do you know any of these people.
"Not half bad" said Claude "Nice strategy, going for the trees. Simple, yet it may have saved your life"
"He only had to use such trickery because he didn't pack a single weapon. Everyone knows to bring at least an Iron Sword when travelling" Said Edelgard, apparently dissaproving of your acts. Wait, why didn't the old man give you a weapon then?
"Please, Edelgard, give the poor man some rest. Whatever the reason to be unarmed, I'm sure he has a good one. Nobody would be that irresponsible!" Says Dimitri, making you feel like an absolute idiot.
"Now is hardly the time for this. Let's bring him to the infirmary" Said Alois. Or maybe other of the knights. Your vision is going blurry again, and it seems you're getting... Sleepy...
Zzz...
Wha- Where are you now?
