The next morning you do what?
Run to the Room of Requirement at your first oppertunity to read the book
You go down down to breakfast pretending that nothing happened when Professor Dumbledore announces that a book on a certain type of magic is missing from the restricted section and for whoever took it to please return it. At your first free period you run to the RoR to read the book.
