What did Madeline do?
Run from the Vipers
Madeline leveled her weapon at the group. She fired. One of the Vipers went down limp. As they scattered she took her chance to run. She had to keep well ahead of them. She rested and fired at them as they pursued her. Expending precious ammunition. After what seemed like an eternity she could see the silhouettes of the raiders disappear in the distance--looking for easier prey. After double checking her surroundings she headed off once again to the east.
