Run!!!

Time-Girl decided it was time to book it. She turned and ran. When she reach the wall, she prepared to jump up to the top and escape but whe failed to see the Emperor pull a net from nowhere and throw it with great skill towards the heroine. The net wrapped itself around her body as she was in midair and she fell back to earth. She struggled to get free from the net until a blade came before her face. The Emperor stood over the tressed up damsel as he addressed the crowd. She didn't understand a word of it but she guessed it wasn't terriable as she was picked up by the waist by the Emperor and carried through the tunnel exit, the crowd cheering behind them.

Once they where alone, the Emperor placed her on her feet and shoved her against the wall. He then loomed over her. "I have waited so long for this moment." He said in an all to familar voice. "Uh oh." she thought to herself. He removed his helmet and revealed the face of Dr. Savage. "Uh....hey there Handsome. Long time no see." He glared at her. "Sorry but you aren't sweet talking your way out of this one." I gave him a sad look. "I take it you are still upset about me leaving." He then backhanded her across the face and sent her to the ground. "You have no idea. I don't like having my feelings played with you b****." "I'm sorry but I couldn't let you dest...." "Save it!!! If you are that hell bent on saving the future, then I'm afraid you'll have to be dealt with." She didn't like the sound of that. "What are you going to do with me." He looked at the heroine with a wicked glare.

A few hours later, Time-Girl was in the middle of the arena chained to a stone column in the middle. All of her means of escape had been removed and despite her struggles, she couldn't escape. The Emperor from up in his box set addressed the crowd who begain to the cheer as the gate to the entrance of the area raised. Out walked several hungry looking lions. Time-Girl knew she was doomed. Her only hope was that it would end fast.
