Rules

Sara and James went to the living room, sodas in hand, to discuss their rules.

As Sara sat down James pulled out a piece of paper. “These are my rules. I’m willing to discuss most of them, but there are a few that are not negotiable.” His voice was serious and Sara nodded her head as she took the paper and read it.

Rule 1Open and honest communication. We will let each other know when we play and with who and be willing to provide a detailed account of what we did upon request. We will let each other know were we will be so that if the other is out as well we will not accidentally go to the same place unless we arrange that.

Rule 2Partner comes first. We agree not to do any ‘Firsts’ with another partner. Those are special experiences that are for each other alone. After we have shared that experience with one another, if either wants it with another then its ok. Additionally, neither partner will deny the other sexual access while at the same time still going out and having sex with another. Under no circumstance does a playmate’s sexual needs come before a partners.

Rule 3Discretion is a must. We agree that while playing we will not endanger either our partner or our lifestyle. We will contain all play to ‘safe’ areas. Only ‘safe sex’ is allowed unless we discuss it thoroughly first. We will not expose each other to situations or circumstances that would make the other would feel uncomfortable or endangered.

Sara frowned a bit as she thought about the notes he wrote. “What do you think? Is there a rule you want to discuss?” James asked. Sara looked up at him.
