Route 1, of course

The Professor had given you a few Pokeballs to start catching stuff, so you decided that going up would be the best option. Many times had you been scolded for going up without a Pokemon. You felt great now that you had a Pokemon of your own.

Route 1 was filled with, well, junk. Rattatas littered the field and Pidgeys were the only other option. You had thought about it, but Blue would probably get mad if you used one of the same Pokemon as her. Training was all you could do and soon enough your Pikachu was better than ever.

But suddenly, someone approached you.

"Hi, I'm giving free samples," the guy told you with a weird look on his face.

"Of what," you asked in distaste.

"We offer only the best Potions at our Pokemart. Here take one," he said. You looked at him confused, but you accepted it nonetheless.

What weirdos.
