Rough Saturday

Sara woke before Mark on Saturday and made her way to the bathroom to wash from the previous night. After taking a nice warm shower she made her way back to the bedroom to find that Mark had already left and went to the kitchen. While she understood that he might have been hungry or thirsty it still slightly bothered her that he didn’t say good morning or fix the bed. But not wanting to ruin the previous night Sara took the time and made the bed herself before joining Mark.

In the meantime, Mark had made himself a single cup of coffee and was in the middle of an online game of FIFA. “Good morning Mark.” Sara said with a clear annoyance in her voice. “Morning. Can’t talk now, have to finish this game” Mark responded before unmuting his mic, never once taking his eyes of the screen.

Sara was annoyed and confused about this development. Last night she felt that they had connected on an emotional level so she was very surprised to see him go back to his old ways. Afternoon making her own cup of coffee Sara kept busy in the kitchen and bed room before going to their study to work a little on her next work project.

That night as she got in bed Mark was very handy and had a noticeable smell of beer on his breath. “Hey baby, last night was sex...I mean great...let’s do again” Mark said as he drunkenly clawed at her chest. Sara replied “I’m not in the mood tonight. I don’t understand what’s with you today. You were so sweet last night. What happened?”

Mark took a moment to drunkenly ponder before falling over on the bed. “I....don’t know. After I came I guess I turned bad. I’m sorry baby.” Despite his drunken stupor Sara could hear that he was actually remorseful. Reaching over she pulled his head to her chest and said “shh shh. It’s okay. You’re still my good boy. I love you” and with that the young couple drifted off to sleep.
