Rot returns... as his sister

Rot woke up with a massive headache. As he pried his eyes open he was greeted by the giant grinning face of Keith Partridge. "Great," he muttered. "I'm in Hell."

Slowly he looked around. Crayon butterflies on the walls, a Fischer stereo, poster of Joe Namath... this was his sister's old room! Wait, that didn't make any sense. "Why would I think I'm my brother?"

That had been one fucked-up dream... living Rot's life, making it into the 21st century. The part about Nixon resigning in disgrace was pretty cool, though. And so clear...

Lauren looked in the mirror. "I'm still her. I mean me," she said. But the memories of Rot's life were so clear, every bit as strong as of her own. "Let's be scientific about this," Lauren said. "Lauren failed calculus, that's why she got stuck in school an extra year. Rot can do it in his sleep."

She opened her math book and looked at the equations. They all made perfect sense. This was child's play. "Holy shit," she said. "I am my brother!"
