Roommates and Snape

As Regulus left with the Slytherin Prefects and Other First Years, he struck up a friendly conversation with Blaise Zabini until they arrived at the Slytherin Dorm and Common Room Entrance. ''Now that we have arrived, we would like to test a little something Our Head of House has informed us of.'' Says the Lead male Prefect. 'Oh boy! He did it, didn't he?' Regulus thinks in his head. ''Regulus would you please be so kind as to Show your Special Talent to everyone else?'' Asks the Female Prefect, but by the time she had started Regulus was already making a beeline for the Front. ''He did it, didn't he? He told you, of my Rare Talent!'' Says Regulus. ''If your referring to the Gift of Slytherin? Then yes we are indeed aware, now please show us your Family Trait!'' The Fem Prefect staes more than asks.

''Open'' Regulus sepaks in Parseltongue, and sure enough the entrance opens as if it had ears. (Which it probably did!) ''Sssssaattttiiiisssssffffffiiiiieeeddddd?'' Asks Regulus in a Parseltongue and British Accent, which was barely Recognisable. ''Very much so. You see First Years, as a Member of the House of Black, Regulus is a Descendant of Salazar Slytherin, the Founder and Namesake of our House. It has long been rumored that A Parseltongue who is related to Salazar Slytherin by Blood, will be able to open the Door to our Common room and Dormitories by saying open in Parseltongue.'' Says the Male Prefect. ''And now we have our proof.'' Says a Voice Regulus immediately recognises and perks up upon hearing. A Figure walks out of the Shadows and comes through the Entrance to the Common room. ''Slytherins, allow me to be among the first to give you the honor of being introduced to our Illustrious Head of House and Hogwarts Resident Master of Potions: Severus Snape.'' Says the Dude Prefect. ''A Pleasure to see you again Uncle Severus.'' Says Regulus politely, with his head bowed and arms by his sides. Snape's Cold expression Softens for a few seconds before returning to its normal state of Coldness, it was only for a few seconds and only those who knew Snape Personally, or Had Heard a fair ammount about him, noticed it and were suitably Shocked. Malfoy was Particularly surprised, the look on that Shithead's Face would be forever etched into Regulus's Brain, it was that Priceless. ''Hello Nephew, I want you to know that as of right now, that While my Expectations for Slytherin are much higher than for other Houses, they will be Dramatically More so for you, given our extensive History.'' Says Snape in his Cold yet unsettlingly Calm and Cool tone. With a Noticeable and Knowing Smile Regulus simply replies. ''I expected nothing Less, and you can be certain I shall Endeavour to Drastically Exceed those Higher Expectations Uncle.'' Says Regulus as Snape Smiles, a rare occurrence for Snape to show to anyone but Regulus.

''You have been Assigned Rooms and Roommates, but some of you, and by some of you, I mean only three of you, will have a much more Luxurious room. I expect you to Show the Best that our house has to offer right away. Until we meet again.'' Says Snape as he apparates away. ''Boys follo me.'' Says the Male Prefect. These will be your rooms, normally we have two or one a Room, but there is one Three Person Room that has been arranged by Professor Snape Personally.'' Says the Prefect as Regulus smugly looks to see his name on the Room door that would house him and two others.
