Room Assignment

You enter, feeling underwhelmed at the sight of things...

There's a small single bed in the center of the oversized room, adorned with pink blankets and pillows. It feels sparse. A solitary vanity sits opposite the bed with mirror and chair. Small containers of makeup are organized along one side, a large screen on the other. There are two doors, one a modest closet filled with women's clothes and shoes. The other a small and plain bathroom, tub and toilet as well as a simple sink.

"Is this really where I have to stay?" You question Samantha.

"I'm afraid so. But cheer up. It's only temporary."

Her well wishes do nothing to satisfy your uneasiness though It seems as though this is what you have for now.

"Get some rest. I'll check in with you soon." Her last words of comfort echo as she takes her leave. Truthfully, you feel as though you could do with some rest and time to think things through. So much has happened, and you really just feel drained. Maybe you can talk to the doc later about changing the decor but for now you let loose a sigh as you climb onto the bed. Just happy to be able to rest as a deep sleep quickly overcomes you.
