Roll His Way Out

James grabbed the dice and groaned. “Not a guy! Hell why was it a guy! I’m rolling for that Jack guy to be a girl.”

He rolled, a four. “Shit. Didn't it say it was a gamble?” James looked at himself in the mirror and sighed, he wasn’t a girl. He frowned. What changed?

He took the dice and walked out to the kitchen and stopped. There was now a sandwich in the table. “I saw you were making a sandwich so I finished it for you.”

James smiled, that was sweet. James looked at Jake and blinked. He was a lot... manlier. He had a full beard and even sported a flannel shirt. “Thanks.”

“No prob. Anyways.. about earlier?” James froze and coughed. “You sure your good. You really have me scared.”

“No-no. Nothing. I was just so surprised you are here.” Jake frowned, “and I really wasn’t expecting it.”

“Okay. Well, at least you remember. I was worried you were sleeping around with others.” James felt his cheeks heat as he was reminded what he was trying to do with the dice.

James moved to the counter and grabbed his sandwich. “You do know I’m not... gay. Right?”

Jake laughed causing James to flinch. Did he say something so wrong it was funny? “Oh I know your Bi- did you really think I didn’t know how you focused on the girls during our movie nights?”

“Uh.” Jake smiled at James. “Well, uh. What do you want to do.” James felt like it was only fair. Hell he kept circling back on using the dice again in some way but he was worried it would just backfire.

“What do I want... hmm. You wanna?” Jake winked causing James to cringe. It was settled- he was going to roll again.

“Hmm let me roll on it.” Jake smiled as he pulled out the dice. James made sure to whisper that “Jake was a woman.”

He rolled, a one. “Well damn.” James frowned at it and looked up at Jake. A sudden feeling of submission came over him. “It’s a yes.” James grabbed the dice before following Jake.

It just felt... right?
