Chapter 9 by gunde gunde

what roles do our heroes take?

Roles A

Thyra swirled through the door of the NYPD’s largest station in the Brooklyn area, it was here that Ellen Nest’s special magic taskforce was being set up.
Seeing as how powerful Blaze and her minions had managed to become in this dimension, Thyra had opted for siding up with the law in the League’s fight against them, and so had created herself as Nest’s new second in command, Thyra Henderson.
Dressed up in a black business suit with a short skirt, high heeled shoes and plenty of lipstick and mascara.

In New York’s harbour, Sledge stood dressed in a black pin-stripe suit and a bowler hat, with a cane swirling in his right hand, as he watched some of his belongings being unloaded from the ocean cruiser which had brought him here from London.
Since money might be an issue in the fight against Blaze, Sledge had assumed the character of Lord Sledge Blackshaft, an English nobleman with a white father and black mother (a princess of the Ibo people), who had grown up an orphan in the wilderness. Sledge was now the name given to him by the African natives who encountered him during his adolescence; it supposedly meant “the Great Inseminator”.
And if nothing else, this role would give him the opportunity to fuck some of the richest and dirtiest women of New York’s finer circles.

River floated around in the pool outside her large mansion in sunny Beverly Hills. Her part in the League’s plan was to pose as River Hayworth, one of the newest and hottest young Hollywood femmes, and a woman known for her willingness to show a little extra skin if that helped promote her flicks. People in the business were more or less sure that she would the prime candidate if the Anal Monologues were to be filmed.
There was even talk of her going to New York to work with the Broadway production of the same play, and chances were that the Alphas’ would try and “convince” her to do so.
Either way, River was loving the high life.

Hauk sat behind the wheel of his battered Ford coupe as it rolled through the flat, monotone Kansas landscape. He was a vigilante, a man who travelled from town to town and dealt with the people that the cops were either to scared or to bribed to handle.
Right now, he might be headed for Chicago, or prepared to take the long drive to New York City. Wherever he was going, he would take up the fight with Blaze and her crew.
