Rocking to the music of 'The Moonlight Howlers' with Abbie.

The location of 'Thunder Gears' in an suburban uptown area reminds of the location of 'The Silken Web', in another suburban area. First of all, you find Abbie finding a public parking lot, then a parking space. Then both of you are walking towards the club, where a long line is already forming. Both of you exchange gossip and small talk while you wait, occasionally checking your respective smartphones for social media posts and e-mail. Eventually, you & Abbie pass the security checkpoint, and walk into the club.

Inside, Abbie leads you to where she was to meet up with her brother, Brent, and his girlfriend, Claudine. To you, Claudine looks like a blast from the past, with her vintage hairstyle and tattoos on the sides of her neck, among other things. After the brief meet-and-greet, Abbie takes you to the floor, getting as close to the stage as she can, as the five-women band take the stage.

Seeing their Gothic rocker look, the sounds of the lead vocalist's vocals, and the mix of Goth Industrial Rock, with Heavy Metal Rock, Goth Emo, and Classic Hard Rock; you can see why Abbie loves this local band. During the concert, Abbie shows you the proper way to do a "Horns Up!" gesture, as well as a Headbanger movement to go with the hand gesture. Then it's a standard nightclub dance, as Abbie laughs and smiles, and you do your best to keep up with the energetic "Gothic Lolita". Before the band did their final number of the night, you hear the lead vocalist do a shout out.

"...and last, but not least, I want to give a shout out to one of my favorite fans, Abbie Hawkins!" The lead vocalist, with the tribal mohawk and light purple hair with lime-colored highlights smiles, as she lets the spotlight shine on Abbie. "Hope you and your companion are having fun tonight, because we're ready to bring this...WHOLE DAMN FUCKIN' PLACE DOWN!"

You watch the band play their big finale for the night, and you match moves with Abbie, who is screaming and singing along with the lead vocalist. When it was done, you feel Abbie pull you closer to the stage, and with some luck and a chance request, you're in her selfie with the lead vocalist. After you & Abbie say your goodnights to the band, and then to her brother & Claudine, you talk about the concert and the band's music with Abbie, as she drives back to your home.

"Whew! I just love it when I can find time to see them in concert!" Abbie smiles, looking to you as she comes in. "Jodie [the lead vocalist of 'The Moonlight Howlers'] and I grew up in the same childhood town, and went to the same schools."

"Hhmm, really?" You ask her, as you go for a couple of glasses to fill with some cool water. "I grew up listening to all kinds of music, but I'm most fond to alternative and hard rock."

"Sometimes, I love hanging out with her, watching horror & Zombie Apocalypse stuff." Abbie smiles, hopping onto the countertop again, sipping her glass of water. "My brother did the tattoo of The Governor from 'The Walking Dead' for her recently."

"The one on her shoulder, right?" You look to her, slowly sipping your water.

"Yes, that one." She takes another sip of the water, then continues the small talk as she finishes. "...now that you've fulfilled your end of the deal, I will fulfill mine."

With that, she hops off the countertop, and she pulls you to the couch in the living room, kissing your lips gently. You take a seat on the couch, and find something for her to dance to.
