Is there anyone else in the office now? Does Rocketgirl find any clues?
Rocketgirl finds a clue to the whereabouts of Markus Stone
Upon walking in, Rocketgirl noticed the office had indeed been broke into sometime ago, but not much appeared to be taken. Time had settled in as everything was covered in dust and cobwebs. However, some paper work was still left sitting on some of the shelves, albeit coated in dust and debris.
One note had a name and address on it. It was Markus Stone's home address.
Trying this address as a good first step, Rocketgirl waited for the next night to investigate.
On the next night, once she discovered where to find Markus, she spotted his car under a lit street light and waited. Eventually a tall but lanky man wearing a trench coat and a hat entered the vehicle and started it up.
"That must be him." Rocketgirl thought to herself.
She wasn't able to see much of him as he was far away and completely covered in clothing. The only part that was exposed was some of his face, although was also clad in shadows.
The car jetted off and Rocketgirl began to easily pace with the vehicle, but at a distance to not get caught. Eventually the vehicle stopped in front of another abandoned building on the shady side of town. Rocketgirl immediately hid herself, but at least was in good visual distance from the driver.
The man stepped out. Rocketgirl could see he was wearing black slacks, boots, and gloves, completely hiding all of his features. She glanced at his face, which was mostly hidden under a hat and some shades. In his hand, he carried a large briefcase. Moments later, two people opened the door of the building to greet this man. Rocketgirl did hear the name "Stoneā and the man replied with a Caribbean accent.
"That's got to be him, for sure." Rocketgirl thought to herself.
Then the two individuals stepped out into the light of streetlight. They were members of the Gray Hand and villains known worldwide. One was Michael "Tarball" Splonsky. A short Italian man who was also a chemist, Tarball's origins are unknown, but due to something that can only be guessed as an experiment gone wrong, he gained the ability make his whole body stretch, bend, and warp like rubber, and have his skin become sticky like tar.
The other was a very large woman with short blonde hair in black leather biker clothing. Ruth "Mammazon" Smith was a petty thief and thug all her life. She became an experiment of an all-girl gang several years ago that involved anabolic steroids and other growth hormone alternatives. Due to these experiments she grew in size to a 7 foot tall behemoth with large breasts, big muscles, and was capable of borderline superhuman strength. Unfortunately, the side effects of a quick temper made her hard to work with, not to mention her intelligence being "a little slow". She was also abnormally pale, which might be another side effect of the testing done on her.
"Hmm, how should I handle this?" thought Rocketgirl.
What does Rocketgirl do now?
