Robin goes alone (Alternate)...

"As much as you want to come with me Miss Patriot, I have to insist you stay here. You're tired, you just went through an ordeal that most people don't recover from, I care about you and don't want to see you get hurt again, please just stay here at my place."

"OK, you're right Detective, I do need rest, thank you...?"

"Robin, my name is Robin..."

Miss Patriot goes to give her rescuer a kiss on the cheek as Robin goes to do the same, both women end up kissing each other.

"U-Ummm..."

"We'll talk more about that when I get back, OK?"

Later that day...

Renee smiled as Ruth showed Detective Robin Falkesgrath into her office, after shaking the detective's hand, Renee offered tea or coffee which Robin respectfully declined. After the exchanging of pleasantries, Robin got down to why she was in Renee's office. Renee knew exactly what this was regarding as it was her and Ruth who were the two scientists that had captured Miss Patriot.

When Robin got a little too close for comfort, Renee gave Ruth a prearranged signal which Ruth carried out quickly. Getting close to Robin, Ruth feinted to trip but quickly blew a small amount of a hypnotic agent onto Robin's skin, Renee used the distraction to set off her pendulum desk 'toy', (we've all seen these, four balls in a line...). The glasses both her and Ruth were wearing had a coating that shielded them from the effects, Robin wasn't so lucky however as she tried to get back on track but started slurring her words.
