Roam the town

You sleepily rub your eyes as you come to. Stretching while your own honey sticks to you. Feeling well rested, you're more than ready to continue in your work. Through the small hole in the ceiling, the moon illuminates the abandoned home. You check on the man, he's asleep still, or rather still out cold that is. Now, you decide what your next action will be. Contemplating your options, you decide on exactly which one you'll do.

You decide to go roam the town. Largely this'll allow you to scout it out, but also possibly find another man to use as an incubator. The front door is heavily boarded up with multiple planks of wood. The same applies to the windows. Seeing no other way out besides the hole in the roof and the crack in which you entered the home, you slip your way out once more. It's rather quiet and dimly lit in the town. The bustling activity must really die down come nightfall. You stay in the alleyways for now, coming to explore the labyrinth of them. After a good hour of navigating and mentally mapping them out, you decide to venture into a side street. Somewhere inconspicuous, so you don't run into another guard like earlier. As you turn the corner, a building catches your eye.
