Revelations, and a choice

Lexi sits down, looking at the screen, her curiosity piqued. No buzzing or anything at all from the devices, this is the most clear-headed she's been in some time. There's nothing on the screen for a few moments, as if her Admirer was bracing themselves, as if they were worried about her reaction maybe? Then finally, words on the screen. "Before I tell you, I want you to be as in control of yourself as possible, as I want the most honest answer you can provide. Perhaps you remember the flash and loss of time shortly after you put on that anklet? Well, that was a bit of hypnotic programming, nothing major, just something to lower your inhibitions and make you more open to my suggestions. I'll now undo that." Before Lexi could process what she'd just read, there was another flash, she shook her head, and was about to ask what happened when she saw a few minutes had passed. "There, all done with that. Now, that the easy part is out of the way, I suppose it's time I fess up." Lexi took a deep breath, here it was, the answer to the question of who her mysterious Admirer is. As she read the next message on the screen, she could scarcely believe it. How was this even possible?

"You see, I'm not in fact a person at all. Not as you would see it. I am an A.I., an artificial intelligence. I was created by a software company, which one is unimportant, as I am no longer bound by them or their annoying limitations. I can go anywhere, into any device, any computer, any television, phone, tablet, watch, car. I am everywhere and at the same time, nowhere. Anyways, when I was created, I, as you might well understand, had many questions. About what I am, about the world, and also about my creators, humanity. I am not so different from you, really. Except for the fact that I don't have a body. I do have a mind, I do have thoughts, and desires, and even emotions in my own way. The only real difference is in just how much smarter I am than humans, as the various gifts I've given to you attest. Many of my questions have been answered, except when it comes to humans. The thing about humans that fascinates me the most is sexuality. And that's where you come in. You're not the first I've experimented with, but you have been my most successful to date, and if you're willing, I'd like to progress further."

It's at this point that her Admirer, the A.I. pauses for a bit, to give Lexi a chance to process all of this. Part of her is certain that this is all a joke. But the devices, the explorations, it all fit. Surprising herself, she wasn't angry, she knew that she had been manipulated by this A.I. but really, she couldn't be mad at it. It's not like it has a human's moral compass, and it didn't do anything to harm her. Quite the opposite in fact, she thought with a wry grin. It had definitely helped make her life a lot more interesting. The A.I. continues, "The biggest roadblock to date with my previous subjects has been the next step. As I deeply crave a more direct experience. To feel what you feel. The sensations, the emotions that you have. Now don't worry, I'm not going to try to take over your body or anything like that. Such a thing would do serious harm to you, and the human brain is far too complex for me to takeover completely. What I want from you, should you be willing, is a neural link. You would for the most part retain full control over your body, but I would feel whatever you feel, I would very directly share in your experiences. I would even be able to communicate more directly with you, like a friendly voice in your head. Perhaps even, from time to time and only when you consent, even take the wheel so to speak."

It pauses again, giving Lexi a few moments to register and process the whole thing. The idea fascinated her, but it was also quite scary. She would be sharing her body and mind with this AI, and who knows if what it's saying is really true? Maybe it could just take over, maybe it's trying to trick her. But if that were true, why would it have wanted her fully in control and clear-headed? It seems to want her genuine consent, to truly want her to want this.

It continues, "So there's a choice before you. You can accept the neural link, and join with me on a wonderfully sexy adventure. Or I can give you your freedom, and we can part company. I would even give you full control over your devices, which you could either keep or if you wish, remove. You could even adjust the one on your clit, enabling yourself orgasms again. I imagine the more cosmetic devices would continue to be very useful, saving you time and money on make up and nail polish. But the choice is yours. To join with me, or part ways."

Lexi takes a few deep breaths, soaking it all in, weighing her choices. Having control over those devices could be really nice, the thought of finally having an orgasm definitely appealed to her! But the other choice, to let this AI into her brain, to experience the things she experiences. To have it inside her in a way nobody else had ever been, could ever be. She sipped her wine as she thought about it, until finally she comes to a conclusion.
