Reveal yourself

"Please.. don't shoot.." you whimper as you move out from under the bed, still wearing only your panties and shirt. The bearded man doesn't seem startled and instead grins before questioning you on the situation. He surprisingly explains (to his own knowledge) what has happened and that they're looking for survivors and whatever supplies they can get. The rifleman goes on to warn that if you're bit or scratched by what he describes as 'dead cannibal men', you become one lest your brain stem is shattered. You gulp as he tells you this. He offers you to come with the group, but stubbornly tells that he won't be leaving you any supplies should you not follow him.
