Chapter 79 by Indirect
What do the assembled catgirls think of her?
Reunions and surprises
With Sandra's warning all your wives had a chance to feed the babies and put them to bed, so for the first time in a long while all of them are waiting when you float Harmony up to the recovery room. Doe looks happy and excited, as usual. She never tires of meeting new catgirls. But today, as Harmony settles onto the bed and her eyes blink open you see a mix of emotions run across Helena's face. She waits though, unsure of herself.
Beyond your wives there are other catgirls milling around and watching, but they don't know today is different from any other day. Kyelle is easy to spot since she stands taller than most catgirls even while leaning against one of the pillars. At the edge of the doorway you see three young heads poking around the corner, dying of curiosity. Laila has all but adopted the two younger children and Tanya is already fond of her. You're sure the three of them will be inseparable for weeks or months.
Doe gives Harmony the usual rundown of who, where, why and so on. Harmony plays along perfectly, possibly aided by the fact that all the changes you made to her have sapped her energy. It's easy to fake being tired and recovering from sickness when you truly are bone tired. Once Doe is done she takes Harmony's hand in hers and gets her into a sitting position. "Welcome," she says, in a clear, warm tone, as she almost always does at the end of her greeting.
That's your cue. You take Helena's hand and lead her over to the bed. You can feel how hard her heart is pounding - you haven't said anything, but Helena has always been a very empathic girl. You get Helena to clasp Harmony's other hand and then tell them, "Helena, this is your older sister, Harm..." and that's all you get out before Helena jumps forward and hugs Harmony tight. There are tears all around and the hushed whispers bounce all around the hall.
For once Doe is thrown off completely and she wraps her arm around yours, holding you for support. Renee, though, is quick to react. She says, "Come on, let's get her upstairs." That galvanizes your other wives and soon Yvonne, Renee and Kyelle are clearing a path forward. You hear some of the side conversations among the gathered catgirls - "Oh, gosh, I'm so happy for her", "I wonder if I have a sister out there?", "I can't wait to talk to her", "Does that mean he'll..." and so on.
After relocating to the master bedroom...
The arrival of a long lost sister has really got the gossip mill rolling. By the time you get to the master bedroom you've got catgirls all but begging to come close. A few even try to sneak in, but Yvonne and Renee convince them they need to wait. Kyelle is there helping too. She's not as assertive as Yvonne, but when the two stand side by side it's like a wall. You've never seen the streak of feline curiosity build up so far and fast in so many catgirls at once.
With everyone else inside and Yvonne, Renee and Kyelle pulling the doors shut, you call out to the crowd and tell them there will be more news come dinnertime. There are pitiful sniffles, unhappy moans, maybe even a 'Harumph' in there somewhere, but the doors do finally close. After a quick check to make sure the catgirl children aren't hiding in a closet or something you breathe a sigh of relief.
"Oh, it's not their fault," Helena is explaining to Harmony. "It's just so exciting. The last time was with Alice," she gestures over at the blonde, who waves back at Harmony and gives her a toothy smile.
"Still, it's quite the uproar," Lessia says. She looks back to the doors and notices that with all the confusion Kyelle has wound up inside the bedroom rather than outside with the others. Kyelle herself seems to realize what's happened at the same time and her shyness begins to take over.
Yvonne sees the look and pulls Kyelle close. "Bah, more trouble to send Kyelle back out," she says. "I mean, if we did then everyone out there would bug her about anything she saw. Besides, she's been here almost as long as I have."
Kyelle looks a little worried at being the center of attention for a whole mansion worth of inquisitive catgirls. "Yeah, can I stay? I'll be quiet. Maybe I can sneak out later?"
Lessia warms up and goes over to Kyelle, taking hold of the big catgirl's hand. "Of course. I did not realize you had been here so long as that. Thank you for being Yvonne's friend, she always speaks well of you." That has Kyelle squirming a little and for a moment all 6'2" of her tries to shrink down and take up as little space as possible.
Back at the bed, Helena has pulled Harmony close to the center of the bed and has wrapped both blankets and her own body around her. "I don't remember you, not exactly," she says, "but I remember something, just a feeling."
You know someone is sure to ask the question, but you made Sandra promise to keep quiet. Both of you are wondering which of your other wives will bring up the idea first. To your surprise, it's Doe. She gets up on the bed and puts her hand atop Harmony's head, then looks up at you and says, "She's family, just like Alice." She's facing you, but she says it loud enough that it was clearly meant as a statement for everyone to hear.
"Yes she is," says Alice, who comes closer to you. She hugs you and says, "We want Helena to be happy, right? I can say I've never been happier than since my cousins welcomed me into their home, their family, their bed." She doesn't have any memory from prior to being brought into your bed, so that is, of course, true. Still, the way she's pressing her groin against your leg tells you that Alice is already thinking of all the fun she'll have welcoming Harmony.
You look around at your other wives. Renee gives you a big smile, Sandra gives you a naughty look, Bethany plays with her tail at first. Then she looks over at where Helena is still holding Harmony and gives you a really big smile. Yvonne gives a slight nod, but when you turn to Lessia you see something you weren't expecting. Lessia isn't looking your way because she's trying to support and comfort Kyelle.
"It's not fair," Kyelle whimpers.
When Yvonne notices Kyelle's state her big, tough catgirl persona melts and she hefts Kyelle almost into her arms, cradling one of her oldest friends.
Lessia looks shocked and just asks, "What's wrong?"
Kyelle tries to hold back the tears pouring from her deep blue eyes, finally gets them under control and says, "I've been here so long. Remember when it was just Doe, Renee, Helena, Yvonne, Sandra, Flora, Eva, Nelayne, Marina and me?" She sniffs again. "I was the tenth... and now the others are all... I mean Flora just left with Sir Galren and Lady Emira. Eva is going to marry Deacon Lorrick. Nelayne is with Leshak and Marina is helping Sir Karnton."
"Oh gosh," Lessia says, taking Kyelle's hand once again and gently stroking the fur on the back of her palm. Bethany comes over too and hugs Kyelle from behind. You can only see her ears poking over Kyelle's shoulder.
"All the others are gone, even a lot of girls who haven't been here as long - they've found husbands."
"What happened with general Harrant?" you ask her. "I thought you two got along great at the party."
She nods, looking mournful. "Yeah, but I told him I had someone in mind already. I tried to set him up with a couple of other girls, but it didn't work out." She looks over guiltily at Yvonne. "I didn't want to leave you all alone."
Yvonne huffs, but you can tell this is getting close to making her cry too. She and Kyelle have really bonded. "Silly," says Yvonne. "You should have grabbed him by the nuts."
That gets a laugh from Kyelle. Then she hugs Yvonne back and says, "Yeah. I'm silly. It's my fault, all my fault."
Lessia looks at Kyelle and look at you, then back to Kyelle and once again to you. Then she gives Kyelle a peck on the cheek and walks your way with a purpose. "John?" she says, "some time ago Sandra said all sorts of things about you being able to make us have babies together. Is that truly possible or was that just her naughty imagination?"
"Well, at the time it was mostly her imagination," you tell her. "But it was one of those things that gnawed at the back of my mind until I went and looked up some things in the library. I've experimented and studied some related spells, like the one that transferred babies from one womb to another. I think it can be done."
Lessia's eyes are glittering with mischievousness that you're more used to seeing from Sandra. "So, for example, you could use some of Helena's eggs to give Kyelle a child? After all, our Helena does worry about how few daughters she has. It would be most kind of Kyelle to carry at least one for her."
"Yes?"
She taps her finger to her lips a few times and then grins. "If, hypothetically, a woman was carrying a child for another woman, would she not be considered a part of that child's 'family'? Of the 'father's family?"
"I think that depends," you say. "Perhaps in some places but not in others?"
Alice squeezes you in an even tighter hug and says, "Well what about for Bast worshipping catgirls who've married a mage and a princess?"
"That does seem to be a quite specific case," Lessia says, smirking. "I suppose if there is no precedent then we would become that precedent."
Alice lets you go and hugs Lessia. "Mmmm, this is why you're our very special catgirl princess. You really know what makes us catgirls tick."
Lessia has to laugh. Meanwhile, Sandra is whispering to Helena and Harmony, then to Doe. As she does, your wives look over at you. You see more big smiles. Even Yvonne gives a big smile, not merely a nod, to the plan.
Sandra comes back looking very pleased with herself. "Mmmm, a double wedding? But I haven't had a chance to tailor my wedding dress." She gives you a kiss and says, "If anyone downstairs asks we can say Harmony mentioned something before being cured - that she remembered a cousin named Kyelle. And once you checked she was actually Helena's cousin this whole time. Then there's a reason why Kyelle is getting to take our hands in marriage but the other girls aren't."
Doe tugs your arm. "Oh, I usually don't like lying to everyone, but that's a good idea. Otherwise there are a lot of catgirls who are going to want to marry you."
"We had best do it right away," says Lessia. "At least in that way we can tell everyone that Kyelle is family and that part of the story will be true."
Yvonne comes over with Kyelle, who's still trying to blink away tears, although now they're happy tears. The big brunette says, "I can't believe you're all doing this. You're making my dreams come true! Yes, I'll gladly carry any babies you want to give me."
You give her ears a good, firm scratch and she sighs. "Here, bring her over to the bed. Helena?"
Helena gives Harmony a long kiss and then scoots over to the edge of the bed. She asks Kyelle, "Are you sure you want me? I mean, what about Sandra or Yvonne?"
Sandra catches Helena's tail and says, "We just want you to go first. I'm sure someday we'll get to see what kind of giant kittens happen when Yvonne and Kyelle make a baby. And I'd love to see how brown fur and red fur mix, so I'd carry some of Kyelle's little ones." Then she turns Helena to Kyelle and says, "But all that's for later. Right Kyelle?"
Kyelle is lying there on the bed. She smiles and takes Helena into her arms, pulling your white furred lover down for a hug and a kiss. Then she mumbles, "Yeah, I want you all, I've always wanted to be part of this, but Helena... you know I've always liked you, right? I mean, they say opposite personalities attract in some of the books we read, but maybe like attracts like too."
So now Helena's crying too. Yvonne rubs her shoulders until she's better and says, "Heh, Kyelle, have you been training with me all this time to try and get in my wife's pants?"
"Wha! No!" Kyelle says, tensing up.
Yvonne lets out a big, deep laugh. "Aw, wow, you should see your face." She hugs them both. "It's gonna be even more fun teasing you in bed."
You might have burned a lot of energy today, but the little magic needed now is well within your means. You instruct Helena to sit astride Kyelle and then warm up both their reproductive systems. Neither catgirl is far out of season, so that's a simple matter. You wait for the eggs to ripen and drop and for Kyelle's womb to thicken in preparation for carrying these new lives.
All of your wives are watching. Harmony, though half-asleep, is watching from the head of the bed. As you have on numerous occasions over the last few days, you pull two fresh eggs down from Helena's ovaries. They float down smoothly through her womb, out through her cervix and down her birth canal, then they pass into Kyelle and repeat the process in reverse. All the while sheathed in your protective magic.
Within Kyelle you find a trio of ripe eggs and you pull the best two of them down into her womb to make the acquaintance of Helena's ova. A touch of magic, a teeny component of you own seed to start the process of combining and then dividing, dividing, dividing... You fuse the new lives to the wall of Kyelle's womb, guaranteeing the tall, muscular catgirl will spend the next nine months growing ever larger. One egg splits, so like Yvonne's first time, Kyelle will bear three kittens. It will be interesting to see what will result from the mix of Helena's pure white and Kyelle's smooth chestnut fur.
When you tell them it's done and withdraw Lessia takes the lead, giving Kyelle a kiss and whispering, "Welcome to the family."
Are your wives interested in waiting for the wedding?
