Reunions and Revelations

Shisui Had Spent Several Weeks Building up a New Otogakure. He Had United the Unruly Prisoners and was Going About instilling a Strict and Harsh Discipline amongst them. Shisui had Called on Unpaid Favors within the Hidden Leaf and Inside The Hidden Sand. Shisui, was Using his Pull in both Villages To Acquire A Lot of Stuff, He'd Asked Tsunade to Send Kakashi, Guy, and Asuma and Shizune to the Village, While Gaara Would Send Kankuro, Temari and Baki. He Wanted them to Teach His People some things but he Wanted to Inform The Jonnin of The Leaf of Something else.

So As Shisui stood Watching The Jonnin Drill the New Oto-Nin Shisui Felt A Measure of Pride, Because Amongst Oto-Nin Were Several Individuals Who Had been Cloned. Some of the Sound Four, Jugo, Karin, Suigetsu, Even Shisui Himself Was Cloned. Shisui Wanted some Front-Runners For Leadership Rolls. He Did Make Sure Though, That The Sound Four He Cloned Differed in Some Ways From The Originals. Firstly, Sakon, Kimimaro, Jirobo, and The New Jugo, Karin and Suigetsu All Lost Two or Three Personality Traits, and Gained Suitable Replacements. For Instance the New Sakon and Ukon Lost Their Disrespectful, Egotistical, and Signature Arrogance. Same Went for Jirobo, and Karin Lost Her Sasuke Fixation, The New Jūgo Was Also Less Prone to Outbursts. The Cloned Jūgo, or Jāgõ as He Was Now Called, Had an Innate Weakness to The Wood-Style Instilled into Him. The Cloned Suigetsu or Muigetsu Was Much The Same, Just Less Fixated with the Seven Swordsman's Blades and **** In General. Meanwhile the Cloned Karin, or Rather Kūrin, Was Cloned to Have Some of His DNA.

Shisui was Meticulous With Which Traits, Both Personality and Genetic Wise Were Cultivated and Transplanted into the Clones. Where Jāgõ Had An Inherent Weakness For Wood-Style, He Had an Innate Resilience To Genjutsu and Wind and Fire-Styles. Where Kūrin Was Much The Same, Shisui Had Given Her Wood-Style and Unusually Higher Chakra Reserves. Muigetsu Retained His Clone Templates Hydrafication Technique, But Was Less Sensitive to Lightning-Style, Unlike His Template. Shisui Was Also of the Opinion That He'd Begin to Better Establish The Land Of Sound as A True Nation. Since He Was Effectively Both Daimyo and The Head of Otogakure, His Reach of Control was Pretty Much Unlimited within the Borders of the Land.

Before Orochimaru Took over, the Land of Sound Was Called the Land of Rice Fields. So Naturally Rice Was it's Biggest Export before it's Renaming. Shisui Issued an Order to All Villages Within the Land of Sound, Await His Arrival and Prepare a Report of What Resources, Natural or Otherwise Their Village Has or Produces. Shisui Knew That The Land of Sound Had Numerous Areas That Were Ripe for Various Things, and While No Farmer or Soil Whiz, He Knew what would boost Yields of Crops. So He Had The Foresight to Check some sites out when he was uniting the Land of Sound.

Shisui Was Walking With Shizune, Yamato, Asuma, and Temari and Baki alongside a Small Escort of Oto-Nin. They Were Entering Their Third Village Since Leaving Otogakure. The Village Elder Greeted Them at the Village Gate. "Lord Shisui. Your Humble us and our Meager Village with your Presence." Says The elder Fearfully. "Stop that Stuttering, I'm Not Orochimaru. I'm Here to See What this Village Is Worth." Says Shisui Sternly."Yes My Lord, Follow Me Please." Says The Man More Evenly. Shisui and His Escort Enter the Village. "How Has the Village Reacted to The New Regime?" Yamato Asks. "Rather Well All Things Considered. Lord Shisui's Reputation is One We, Indeed the Whole of Land of Sound, Knows Rather Well," Says The Elder. "Tell Me About The Village, How Do You Survive and What's in the Surrounding Area?" Shizune Asks. "Well, Like Most of our Countrymen, We Farm Rice Extensively, But Our Forests Are Also Teaming With Game and Our Rivers with Fish of Many Kinds. Some Say Our Hills Have Valuable Ores in them, but We Never Had Much Reason to Find Out." Says The Elder. "Kimimaro, Take Jāgõ and Jirobo and See What's In The Hills. Kūrin, You and Baki Lead Sakon, Ukon, and Temari into the Forests and See What is there Exactly. Asuma, Take Muigetsu, and Izuon into the River Check out the Situation." Shisui Says as Each Group Nods and Heads off to See the Situation, Leaving Shisui, Shizune, Yamato, and a Few Oto-Nin Alone with The Elder.

"There's Something Else My Lord. Recently We've Heard of Highwayman and Bandits Roaming The Outskirts of the Land, Some Say They're Part of The Shiin and Fuma Clan's." Says The Elder. "Hmm, Yamato, Check That Out." Says Shisui as Yamato Leaves and only Shisui and Shizune are left with the Oto Escort. "How About the Lives of The Villagers in General? How Could they Be Improved?" Shizune Asks. "Well, To Be Honest, Life Here is Exceptionally Hard, Our Crops Haven't been doing well of Late, Our Homes are Not the Best to Live in, and The Village has Low Morale." Says The Elder. "Well, I At Least, Can Fix the Homes Issue. Have Every one in the Village Gather Their Possessions from Their Most to Least Prized and Leave their Homes in The Afternoon. My Shadow Clones Will Assist." Says Shisui. "It Will Be Done My Lord." Says The Elder

It Was Time to Solve The Housing Issue, so with every possession of import removed, Shisui Demolished Every Home in the Village. "Now Then, Time to Start Anew." Says Shisui as He Weaves the Hand Signs and Uses Wood-Style to Rebuild the Homes From Scratch. Every House is Rebuilt and Improved. Shisui also Gets A Feeling For the Soil's State. "Huh, That's Odd, The Soil is Weak and Flat." Says Shisui as he Tries to Get A Sense of the Epicenter of the Cause. "Elder? What's In That Direction?" Shisui Asks Pointing Northeast. "Just an Old Dam, Nothing Currently Worthwhile, Why?" Asks The Elder. "Something's Not Right Here. Shizune, Keep an Eye on the Village and The Elder Why I Investigate. You Lot! Get Word to Kimimaro and Asuma, Tell Them To Meet Me There!" Shisui Orders, Before Jumping Away.

Shisui was Running Through The Forest Towards the Old Dam, When Kimimaro and Asuma's Groups Fall in Behind Him. "What's Going on My Lord?" Asks Kimimaro. "Something's Not Right, The Soil's Weak and Flat, too much to be purely coincidence." Say's Shisui s Asuma nods thoughtfully. "You Think Whatever's Causing that is up ahead?" Asks Asuma. "Yeah, Got A Feel for the Direction of the Problem, The Village Elder says an Old Dam is up Ahead, supposed to Be Run down and out of Commission." Says Shisui. "But?" Asks Asuma. "My Sensory-Skills Have Discerned Five Separate and Strong Chakra Signature's in the Area up Ahead. With Several Dozen Weaker Ones Spread Out nearby." Says Shisui. "You Think it was Deliberate?" Asks Kimimaro. ''Perhaps, Perhaps Not. All I Know is What I Discerned From The Dirt.'' Says Shisui as He, Asuma, and Kimimaro Come to See a Large Operation outwards. ''Are They Sabotaging The River?'' Asks Asuma. ''Yeah, They're Pouring Salt in the Streams, Which is Then Flowed into The Villagers Crops.'' Says Shisui. ''What's The Plan My Lord?'' Kimimaro Asks. ''Hard to Say. They Could Just be Bandits, But Why Sabotage the River and Crops? Something More's At Play Here.'' Says Shisui. ''There! That's Where They Get The Salt From.'' Says Asuma Pointing. ''I Say, We Have Some Fun With Them. Let's Wait until Nightfall, Then The Fun Begins.'' Says Shisui Ominously.

Night Had Fallen, and Shisui's People Were Ready. ''Set Up Surveillance in the Tree's. Asuma and Kimimaro? Set Fire to Some of the Huts When I Cast The First Flame.'' Says Shisui as He Jumps down stealthily. He Phases Into The Salt Storage Room, and He Pockets Some of The Salt for Later. As For The Rest, He Pours it all on The Ground. Phasing Back Outside, Shisui, Sets The Tavern on Fire. As Asuma and Kimimaro set the Hutts on Fire, Shisui Sends Them Back to their Hidden vantage point. Taking Up Tayuya's Flute, Shisui Don's His Mask, and Begins to Play The Genjutsu Flute.

Soon Countless Men Are Up and Screaming, A Few Try to attack Shisui. But He Passes Right Through Them. Men Start Calling Him A Vengeful Spirit. Shisui Waits until he is Standing Next To The Dam before upping The Frequency of the Tunes, which Cause The Dam to Crack. Shisui Eventually Fades into the ground and returns to Asuma and Kimimaro. ''I Think They Got The Message.'' Notes Asuma in Amusement. ''We'll Start Anew tomorrow Night.'' Says Shisui.

Night After Night, Shisui Appeared, Acted Like A Vengeful Spirit, and Drove The Workforce and Guards Insane With His Deception Of The Vengeful Spirit, Until At Long Last The Workers and Guards Had Had Enough and Chose To Mutiny Against Their Bosses and Plead For The Spirit's Forgiveness. Shisui, In A Echoing and Vacant But Vengeful Tone Demanded They Cease The Acts Of Defilement Of His Grave and Never Again Commit Such Foul Deeds and Blah Blah Blah. Regardless Shisui Got His Wish and The Spoiling Of The Land Had Stopped, and With His Wood-Style and Great Ash Winds Jutsu, The Soil Would Be Back To Normal and Then Become Better. Regardless, His Goal Was Complete, His Priority Goal Outside Of Tayuya Anyway.
