Returning back to the models

With everything on a try, you came back to the room, now even more cramped with a lot of make-up artist going around like crazy from a model to the other. It was evident they were in a hurry.

Of course they weren't happy of having you around, and they showed it loudly, the same woman you followed before even shouted at you to get the hell out.

You were about to reply back that you weren't going to move from there, and she had only to try to make you, since you were pissed by the way she attacked you, when Adriana said, in a completely calm but slightly firm voice "There's no need to argue, Nate will give us the coffees he was so kind to bring us and then he will wait outised to let us finish the hair and make-up. Right, honey?"

You reply "Sure..." you said, watching that woman with an evident death glare, but you did as my girlfriend told.

It was impressive how everyone of the angry crew immediately shut up and came back to their business, acting like they just got an order from their boss, while Adriana wasn't; the almost twenty year experience and her icon status gave her an immense respect in the business, and even if she was friend with many of them they would have never made her upset.

Basically her word was law, even if she never abused being one of the nicest people you have ever met in my life and not a pampered diva. Distributed the beverages to the models, you went near her and kissed my love one more time, not giving a damn of the others watching.

Whispering you say"If you want me here just tell me, love, I am not afraid of that angry bitch..."

Adriana says "Forgive them, they are all stressed because we are late, but they didn't mean anything bad. Wait outside, please, I'll be ready in no time." So you did, and going back to the main hall you realised you forgot to make the girls pay for their coffees...

Note to self: do not make gifts/pay something to your girlfriend in presence of her collegues.
