Return to the shore

Leaving Kate **** on the boat, you ease yourself back underwater and lumber slowly back towards the shore, remaining deep beneath the surface. A while later, the soft muddy ground beneath you begins to rise and you find yourself crawling up a dirty bank, having to grasp the weeds slightly to keep upright. It starts to rain gently.

Steadying yourself as you get out of the water, you look to your left to the old, rickety pier. In the evening light, you notice a distant figure perched near the edge.
