"I won't ever leave you again. And, I'm sorry for closing the door on your face." I told Sarah.
"It's fine. I understand." she replied. We embraced each other for a long time until I pulled back. Sarah let out a disappointed sigh when my arms left her body. It filled me with pride that I could have such an effect on a girl. I held out my hand to her. She gave me a quizzical look but still gave me her hand.
"C'mon. We are going to Emma's rehearsal." I told Sarah. Her eyes widened and she shook her head.
"I can't. I don't even have a dress ready and you are in a suit. I would look out of place there." she told me.
"No you're not. You'll fit in with your sweater and jeans. It's a rehearsal, not the official wedding. And I also want to surprise everyone there." I told Sarah. It took Sarah a few seconds to decided before her green eyes met mine.
"Let's go." she said. I smiled and pulled on her hand to get going. We both left her room and went downstairs.
"Hey mom and dad. I'm going to go somewhere with Jake right now. I'll be back later." Sarah told her parents. Her parents saw us holding hands and just nodded with huge smiles on their faces.
"Race ya to the restaurant." I muttered to Sarah.
"You're on." she giggled back at me.
We made it back to the rehearsal in record time and Sarah ended up winning the race. To be honest, I purposely tailed behind her to watch her ass shake each time she moved. I caught up to Sarah and she had a smirk on her face.
"Great race. But it would have been better if you put actual effort into it." she remarked.
"What do you mean? I was trying my best." I said, feigning innocence.
"I'v known you for a long time. I know how you look when you are lying to me. Next time, try to make your ass staring activity more discrete." she finished with a small smile at the corner of her mouth.
My face turned red. "How did she know?" I thought. "Busted." I told her. Sarah just shook her head and lightly punched my shoulder.
"Come on perv. Lets get the party started." She grabbed my hand and pushed open the door. Whatever activity was going on, stopped immediately. It was so quiet, you could hear a pin drop. Everyone was staring at Sarah and I, hand in hand. Casey was standing in the back, giving me a big smile and a thumbs up. I smiled back at her.
"Well,well,well. Jake finally got the girl of his dreams back." stated Harry.
"Shut up!" Sarah and I said at the same time. We bumped shoulders at our impressive choreography. Harry gave a out small laugh and patted my back. Everyone clapped for us and I felt embarrassed about it.
"Congrats." Harry whispered in my ear.
Emma walked up to me and gave Sarah a long hug. She moved on to me and hugged me and whispered, "Next time, don't pull this stunt during my important moments. This is my day not yours." It was followed by a punch to the shoulder.
"Of course, Emma." I replied. I pushed her a little as I whispered it to her. She gave me a playful glare and mouthed, "I'm going to kill you when we get home." I just smiled at her.
