Return to the League

Still embarrassed over her exposure, Diana decided to leave a little earlier than planned. After saying her goodbyes, she made her way to Metropolis in her invisible jet, still thinking on her mother's words to her. On the one hand, she knew that she was right. Diana was a hero and heroes had to defend the innocent no matter the cost.

On the other hand, the very idea of displaying her naked body to the world chilled her to her very core. Besides, she had made it this far without the Gods gifts, it wasn't as if she needed them. Though ignoring a Gods generosity could result in disaster if handled poorly.

Diana was so immersed in her thoughts that she almost didn't notice the Hall of Justice fast approaching. She had to pull herself together, going around in circles like this was going to drive her crazy, she kept wishing that she had someone to talk to about this. She started to regret leaving Themyscira so soon, at least her mother would have taken her humiliation seriously, most of the other League members would probably jump at the chance to see her naked.

Not that they all would, of course. Clark and Bruce would at least try to be civil if she went through with her nude power up. She was still trying to figure out how to break the news to them and who would take the news better. Bruce was pretty good at taking things seriously, almost to a fault, but Clark also had superpowers so he would better understand the pressure and responsibility she faced.

As she landed the plane, Diana noticed that someone had come out to welcome her back.
