Rest (Costs 40 wealth, restores stamina, guts, self-restraint)

The only place at Down to Clown that isn't exciting-- besides the manager's office-- is the on-site building that acts as accommodations for all of the clown assistants, like you. Your first warning that this won't be a deluxe suite is the way that it's hidden from sight from the public, tucked away near the back of the park, meaning it's quite a walk from everything else as well. It's completely devoid of cute clown girls or even clown decor that you can use to help refocus your energy towards cute clown girls. It looks a bit like a standard motel, really, with nothing inspiring or cool about it.

Not only that... it's a bit shabby and run down. Apparently, this place runs on a lot of cheap labor from guys like you-- so much so that they literally charge you by the night, deducting money straight out of your paycheck. Donatello had told you everybody was in on the joke besides the manager, and apparently, that extended to their handshake agreement that they would all work for peanuts and endure terrible housing arrangements for the sake of having a shot at the clowns.

You make your way to your shabby bed and thin blankets. What will keep you warm tonight isn't the questionable heating system that the manager has blessed you with in this hellhole of a bedroom-- it's the thought of tomorrow's work day to come once the park reopens, the lights come on, and the clowns hit the park streets.

... If only you had an actual clown to hug tonight. That'd be even better. Unfortunately, this place is restricted from clowns altogether-- being caught here would be bad for them and probably you as well. The manager's just itching to bring the hammer down on you assistants.

You'll just have to enjoy the company of your own hand instead, if you're so inclined.
