Rescue Operation

The pursuit of the last escaped prisoner, Number 24376 (Calvo), was temporarily suspended to conduct a search and rescue operation for the Guard designated number Twelve. Guard number Twelve had suffered numerous cuts and bruises, a mild concussion and a broken arm, but, thanks to the hard work of the Medical Officer, was fit for regular duty within three days.

The time it took to conduct the rescue, and to shore up the prison's security perimeter to prevent further escapes, allowed prisoner #24376 to make good his escape. Subsequent satellite searches of the surrounding area found no trace of him. Other electronic surveillance techniques also drew a blank. The area he had disappeared into might allow him to remain undetected for months to come.It was even concievable that Calvo would be able to signal for an off-planet rescue the next time the prison camp came under a fighter drone attack. Clearly, the recapture of Prisoner #24376 was a top priority for the prison Officers and Guards. A task **** was formed dedicated solely to his recapture.
