Renly discusses plans for the future

"There are several things we must address," Renly tells you, "Mainly, there is the war. I thought to include you, Brynden, because you seem to have the realm's best interests at heart, as you suggested the possibility of an alliance between Robb Stark and myself."

"On that note, may I ask if you have you given that alliance any further thought, Your Grace?" you say curiously.

"Actually, I have," Renly admits, "That is the main issue. You see, although this may be the War of the Five Kings, only three are still fighting. I have captured my brother Stannis, and Balon Greyjoy has conceded."

"He has?" you mutter in surprise. You would not have thought the Ironborn would give in so soon.

"Indeed he has," Lady Catelyn confirms, "I wrote to Winterfell after you told me of the possibility that the Ironborn would invade the North. In response, the Northmen who stayed behind were able to fortify their coastal towns and holdfasts. As a result, the Ironborn were pushed back quite easily. They barely even set foot on our shores before they were retreating back to their ships."

"Theon Greyjoy even had the gall to try to take Winterfell," Queen Margaery adds in, "Luckily, he was solemnly defeated. He and his sister Lady Asha were apprehended by Ser Rodrik Cassel. When 'King' Balon learned that his children were captured, he surrendered unconditionally."

"Then the Ironborn are no longer a threat?" you assume hopefully.

"That is correct," says Lady Catelyn, placing a delicate hand on your shoulder and smiling, "All because of you."

You flush a bit and shrug your shoulders, as though you are not certain whether or not to agree.

Renly then tells you "As I was saying, the only kings left are myself, Robb Stark, and my 'nephew' Joffrey. I have no quarrel with Robb, I am certain he has none with me, and he has an even greater reason to want Joffrey dead than I do. Therefore... I have decided to entertain the concept of an alliance with the Starks. I will even allow Robb to continue to call himself the King in the North. Provided that he does two things for me first."

"What would you require of my son, Your Grace?" Lady Catelyn asks.

Renly answers her with "First, he will publicly acknowledge me as the rightful king of the Seven Kingdoms, and he will make no claims on any land south of the Neck. Second... he will help me seize King's Landing from the Lannisters."

"Those are both reasonable requests," you casually remark, shifting a little in your seat. Your padding is still pressing against your crotch and bottom firmly, and you remain very aware of your diapered condition.

"I agree," says Lady Catelyn, "Even so, Your Grace, I must ask; why would you need my son's help to take King's Landing? With the soldiers and ships you acquired from Lord Stannis, you have the means to accomplish this task on your own."

"That is correct, my lady," says Renly, "Truthfully, I believe I COULD take the city with my own forces. However, if the realm is to survive with two kings, we must prove that these two things are capable of cooperating with one another to attain the greater good. Furthermore, if Robb's reason for fighting truly is for his father's justice, then I would see just how determined he is to succeed in this righteous goal."

"Those are some fine points, Your Grace," you comment, "If two men who called themselves 'king' worked together to bring down a tyrant, I believe the smallfolk would - on the whole - come to respect both of them, regardless of their origins."

"Since you grew up among the smallfolk, I trust in your judgment, Brynden," Renly remarks. He then stands up and declares "I will write to King Robb and tell him what we've discussed here. Once he agrees to my terms, I shall arrange to meet with him so that we may combine our forces and march on King's Landing. If we are fortunate, within a month or two, King's Landing will fall out of the Lannisters' hands."

"I wish you the best of luck, Your Grace," you tell the black-haired man. "Is there... anything else you require of me?"

"Only for you to continue to rest up and regain your strength," Renly responds, grinning a bit, "I am certain you have no issue with that order. While I personally prefer the company of Loras, I know most other men would be delighted to be left in the care of five very beautiful women."

Lady Brienne, Lady Catelyn, Queen Margaery, Mira, and Sera all blush a little at being addressed as such. You just scoff and say "I quite agree, Your Grace."

King Renly and Ser Loras then exit the pavilion, and you are left alone with your five female caretakers.''
