Renewed Friendship

Cafe Main, it is a nice, but small dinner. One of those hole in the wall places that always has the most surprising foods!

Izzy arrived just before 11, and as she walked in the door she looked around to see if she was the first to arrive. It didn't take long to find him. He really hadn't changed much in the few years they hadn't seen one another. He was sitting in a corner booth. His dark hair was combed back and he had on a black button down shirt and black slacks. He was reading a paper and drinking a soda.

Izzy had to admit, his lean figure still looked so much more powerful then her husband's more doey one and she could feel her body begin to respond. It had been so long since she was so easily excited.

She walked over to the booth, "John?" He looked up and smiled, such a confident smile, it could charm the panties right off her if she let him. "Izzy its good to see you!" He said with genuine excitement. He immediately stood up and hugged her tightly and she let her arms encircle him and was a little disappointed when he let her go and gestured for her to sit across from him.

"I am happy you called me and I'm sorry for having to cut you short earlier, but you caught me as I was headed into a meeting with my bar staff." He started. He locked eyes with her, something few people bothered with these days. He had an intensity there that she liked. "Its ok I understand, your busy." He smiled warmly at her. "You called me for a reason though. What’s on your mind?"

Izzy hesitated, she wasn't sure how to phrase her question. Then she kind of blurted it out. "I need a job and was hoping you knew someone who was hiring." John took a deep breath. "Well, lets start with your skill set? I know how smart you are, but what do you do now? Any previous work?" She shook her head. "I've been a housewife and mother." John nodded his head. "One of the hardest jobs in the world, ok. Well..."
