Release the jinn
Jake knew that the jinn had done him a big favour by granting his wish. He felt that he owed the jinn something in return.
"Alright", he said. "You may leave."
"Thank you", hissed the jinn.
The black shape shimmered in the air, then drifted apart. Within a few seconds, the silhouette of the jinn had vanished.
