"Very well, then. Once you leave this godforsaken portal, you might sense some new changes." Marukka told her.

Mammoth looked over at Hannah and said, "Thanks."

She nodded before exiting Hell via the mirror's portal.

Two weeks later...

Though Hannah could not go to Daytona Beach for Spring Break, she at least had the courage to tell David that they were better off as friends, to his dismay. While en route to her latest lecture, she bumped into a rather tall man with blue-grey eyes and short brown hair.

"Excuse me, Miss... but have we met before?" he asked.

Hannah blinked before recognizing that he'd look very similar to Mammoth. "Maybe... but allow me to introduce myself, though; I'm Hannah Winfield."

"I'm Tobias Saunders, and I'm one of the new teachers at UCLA. I think you're familiar."

Hannah quickly remembered that he was Mammoth, "Of course. Do you mind if we talk over some green tea?"

"Nope."

Hannah smiled back. She was confident that this would be more than just a memorable friendship.
