"Very well. You might sense some new changes once you've returned."

Dr. Faustus turned to her and smiled. "Just remember, the doctor will always be in."

Hannah nodded before saying her goodbyes to him and finally leaving Hell.

A week later...

Hannah had just come back from Daytona Beach for a Spring Break vacation, though she was also quick enough to tell her boyfriend that they'd stay friends, to his dismay. One day, she had finished her studies.

She was ready to leave and go home when she heard a voice. "Hello, miss. Have I seen you before?"

Hannah turned to see who the voice belonged to and gasped. The person in question was a fairly tall, gangly man with dark brown hair and green eyes and sported an uncanny resemblance to Dr. Faustus (minus the bear trap, of course).

"Excuse me, but... do you have a name?" she asked.

"I'm Joseph Carter, and I work here in this library," he replied.

"Joseph...Carter...you're the new librarian that just moved here, I assume?"

"Yes; maybe we can talk some more after my shift?"

"Okay then, Mr. Carter; by the way, I'm Hannah. It feels weird to be introducing myself to a stranger, though."

Joseph smiled at her, a golden glint in his eyes showing. Such a pretty girl, he thought to himself, what I wouldn't give to spend a little quality time with her.
