"Very well. You might sense some new changes once you've returned."

"Regardless of the outcomes and shit, I think I've made it," Imp told Hannah.

She could only nod in agreement before eventually heading back into the real world via the portal.

A week later...

Hannah had just come back from Daytona Beach for a Spring Break vacation, though she was also quick enough to tell her boyfriend that they'd stay friends, to his dismay. One day while shopping at Publix, she had already finished her grocery list and was ready to pay.

Just as she was next to pay up the clerk, Hannah blinked in surprise. The clerk had an uncanny resemblance to the Imp, with spiky blond hair and a growing beard, except he wasn't a midget at all.

"Do I know you?"

"Uh... well, you look a little familiar. So, yeah,"

"I'm Tyler Duncan. Just call me Tyler; I actually work part time here."

"I'm Hannah Winfield. If you want, when you're done with your shift, you can visit me."

"Sure. You wanna exchange numbers, too?" Tyler asked.

"Sure!" Hannah replied with a smile.

Now this is what I call love at first sight, she thought to herself.
