"I choose reincarnation," she replied.

"Very well, then. Once you leave this godforsaken portal, you might sense some new changes." Marukka told her.

"Chances are, we'll see each other soon." Tormentor said to Hannah. She nodded in agreement before saying her goodbyes and returning to the real world.

A week later...

Hannah had just come back from Daytona Beach for a Spring Break vacation, though she was also quick enough to tell her boyfriend that they'd stay friends, to his dismay. While on her way home from lunch with her friends, she had passed by a tall, 50-something man.

He was quick enough to notice her and smiled as he said, "Well, hello. Are you looking for a ride home?"

Hannah had soon discovered that the man looked a lot like Tormentor, with his fairly full head of brown hair with tinges of grey. "Have we met before?" she asked.

Remembering his previous life as Whitefield, he laughed before he replied, "Oh, I've known you, alright. As I've asked before, though, did you want a ride home?"

"Not really," Hannah said, before she added, "but maybe I can take you back to my apartment and talk over some green tea.

By the way," she paused before asking, "... what's your name?"

The man simply replied as he wrapped an arm around her waist. "I'm Hamilton Grisser IV. I live here, and..."

"And you're very wealthy, I presume?" Hannah asked.

"That's right," he said. Before long, the hand that was on her waist eventually reached her ass. She gasped as he squeezed it before adding, "I look forward to getting to know you again."

As much as she wanted to be creeped out, Hannah couldn't help but fall hard for this older man. Maybe May-December romances aren't all that bad, she thought to herself.
