Regrouping, planning, and preparing.

As the three women left the church, Larisa led the way towards the lounge, but they found Rondo and Mason along the way. They were standing outside of a tavern and waved the women over before going inside. "We have three real leads to follow with this. One is the records in the catacombs, then the brothel, and then the women who were ****.... We only have enough people to send teams of two to two of the sites. The other will have to go alone. When we got to the lounge I learned that Loxley is currently out of the city pursuing leads about a vampire attack in a nearby town, so our last team member can't join the fun."

All eyes were on Venus as she tried to outline a plan in her mind. The **** women were acting oddly. If there was more than just the rapes to that, it would be hard to detect, but Rondo's nose could pick up something. "Fine, I'll go with her! Don't give me that look Rondo, we are going to get information, that is all. We will go in, ask some questions and look around, then get out. No fucking until I see you that night ok?"

Rondo looked at Venus for a few moments, clearly trying to control his anger. He took a few deep breaths and then closed his eyes and nodded. With that done, Venus called an end to the meeting and it was decided that they would start first thing in the morning. Mason went to set up a meeting time for him and Rondo to see the **** victims while Rose and Rondo headed back to the Lounge to check their supplies and prepare for their own jobs. That left Venus with Larisa. Neither women owned anything that would work for pretending to be a whore, so Venus had suggested they go shopping.

Venus and Larisa found a small clothing store that would suit their needs, but the girl was still fidgety. Finally Venus had to pick out something for both of them. Larisa reached up and pulled off her leather cap, revealing two cat ears. This caught Venus off guard and she started to stare. When Larisa opened her eyes and noticed, she quickly put the hat back on.

"That is why I don't get close to people. Mason knows about it and protects me, Loxley thinks I need to be killed like a monster. I don't have the confidence to do this Venus."
