Refuse

You decide that, even if it is your first day, you're not going to let anyone act like that with you. You slowly start to stand back up.

"Now, I don't know what you think about me," you say, "but I frankly also don't care. That is not the way I am going to be treated at this job!"

"Oh, really?!" Becky asks you angrily.

"Yeah, and especially not by you!" you shout back.

"And why's that?!" she shouts to you.

"Because you're leaving!" a voice yells.

You & Becky both look in the direction the voice came from, and there stands your new boss. She opens the office door, and points. Silently, Becky exits, after which the boss closes the door again.

"Thanks," you tell her.

"Welcome," she says plainly. "But I think we have to correct one mistake you made."

"What's that?" you ask.

"You're talking about how you're going to be treated here. We don't even know that you're going to last here past today," she explains.

"How might I change that?" you ask.

"Well, you said you'd agree to help our clients feel better. So either grab a client list from my assistant, visit them all, and make sure I get positive feedback from each one before five o'clock," she starts.

"Yes,..." you say, rather sure that'd be impossible.

She continues, "Or drop your suit right now, and show me what you're capable of."
