When does he find out?

Reflection in a storefront

As Xavier and Dr. Vierre walked back, he occasionally saw a cute blonde through the windows out of the corner of his eye, but whenever he turned to look into the shop, she wasn't there. He began to wonder if he was hallucinating, when he saw her again, in a window of a store that was closed. The dark pane of glass worked like a mirror, and he realized it was a reflection he was seeing.

"Is that... me?" he asked, raising one hand and watching his reflection do the same. He grabbed some of his hair and pulled it in front of his eyes, confirming. "Why am I blonde?!" he hissed at Dr. Vierre. He didn't want to make a scene though, so he was being quieter than he wanted to.

"Because I had your hair dyed." she said calmly.

"But, but I didn't think-"

"You know, I find it interesting that you're reacting much more harshly to me dying your hair than planning to dress you as a woman."

"What does that have to do with anything?!"

"I mean, most men would hate the idea of being a woman, and not mind getting their hair dyed. Could it be that the reason you were so okay with it because you don't feel much like a man? That a part of you wanted to learn how the other half lives?"

"I... no. No it isn't." he said as firmly as he could.

"Let me ask you a question," she said, resuming walking and leading him with her, "what do you think when you think of a blonde?"

"Me, now." he muttered.

They reached her office. "We're going to do some word association. I say a word, and you reply with a different word, fast as you can. The first one that pops into your head. Ready?"

"Okay."

"Table."

"Chair."

"Book."

"Rules."

"Wood."

"Morning."

"Cock."

"Cum."

"Doctor."

"Beautiful."

"Blonde."

His association?
