Realization

You take a bite of your burger as you click on the thread. You're investigating the forum searching for answers. You decided to start by looking at the thread you skimmed through last night.

As you read through it you try to summarize what is said.

1st: Benjamin is a femboy. If you start from the basis of being the only one aware of magical changes then he wasn't effeminate yesterday. Which means he changed overnight.

2nd: Ashley is your lovey-dovey girlfriend. Once again, your relationship changed overnight, yesterday she hated your guts and today she invited you on a date.

You also see posts talking about you being an impulsive seducer which isn't helped by the fact you spent the day surrounded by girls and an... almost-girl.

Somehow those two changes occurred after those random strangers talked about it online, which would mean... That this site is somehow magical. To verify your theory you go through other threads looking for an incorrect statement.

It takes you a while though as most of these statements are unverifiable, like the principal getting pregnant again, or about someone cheating on someone else.

But you end up on a verifiable false statement. [I'm telling you guys! Miss Gonzalez is moving out in summer!] It can't be true as since the post we're now in winter and she taught your class a few hours ago. This means that some rumors became true while others didn't. You think about the common point between the two rumors which changed your life drastically.

...

That's it! You can't be sure but you have a theory, both of those rumors were born from the same origin and got amplified with time.

It's YOUR fault. You're the one who told Jessica that Benjamin was a crossdresser and the rumor morphed into him being a femboy. The same way you were caught laying down with Ashley, indirectly starting the rumor that you two were going out.

Of course, a theory isn't enough and you want to be sure of yourself. You decide to create another rumor crafted with the only goal to verify your idea.

You need something small in case you're right but still verifiable. You write a new post in the forum and hesitantly click on send.

You lay down on your bed.

What the fuck am I doing? If I'm right how am I going to fix this mess?

You decide you're not tired enough and turn on your console.
